Simphiwe Ngema and Tino Chinayi Break Up

The romance between Simphiwe Ngema and Tino Chinayi is officially over.

Last August, the couple confirmed their relationship, which came three years after Ngema’s late husband, Dumisani Masilela, died in an attempted hijacking. Together, they share a one-year-old son named Tiyani.

However, taking to Instagram on Sunday, 12 September, Ngema revealed that she and Chinayi were going their separate ways in the caption alongside photos of their spending time on a yacht.

She wrote: “This has been one of my greatest experiences, a beautiful love story of two people fighting all the odds to be together. I have learnt to love again, to feel again, to live again and to smile again.”

Although the exact reason behind the break-up isn’t made clear, the “Muvhango” actress paid tribute to the model, whom she said she will “love forever and always.”

She added: “I will forever be grateful for Everything [sic] you have taught me. I pray that God gives us the strength and wisdom to raise our beautiful son … Take care of yourself.”
